STADT - Lean Propulsion, a game changer!

STADT is introducing their new film as one of several important steps to take a new strategic position in the market. This film communicates the company’s visions, and the philosophy behind their technology - The STADT Lean Drive - a new generation of electric propulsion.

BV Consult has managed and facilitated the internal process for the STADT management team to define STADT's new strategic position in the market. BV Consult has also created the requirement specifications for communication by film, and developed the storyboard in collaboration with Fantastiske Osberget and STADT themselves. The film was produced by Fantastiske Osberget.

STADT’s mission is "To develop and deliver propulsion excellence, tailored to the individual vessels". By combining 30 years experience with PWM and using Lean philosophy, STADT has developed the new 5th generation of AC drives; the STADT Lean Drive.

The new STADT Lean Drive has been delivered to more than 30 vessels worldwide. Several of these vessels have already sailed for 10 years without any failures. This demonstrates a remarkably low failure rate, and a new level of reliability for propulsion drives.
